Are you a psychic?

Are you a little psychic?

Okay, let’s just stop right there. This is not the California Psychic Network and I would like to curb the visions of Psychics Mediums, Fortune Tellers, and Prophets dancing through your head. So, let’s just go ahead and change the word psychic to Intuitive*.

Are you intuitive?

You have used that word before, right? As in intuition or a mother’s intuition. It can be something as simple as a gut feeling, hair sticking up on the back of our neck, or vivid dreams.

But what is it exactly?

I have friends with this ability.

I have clients discovering this for the first time.

And I need to understand it better too.

Wikipedia defines intuitive; “the modern usage of which has been formally derived from the work and writings of Immanuel Kant, is the ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason.[1] From Latin verb intueri which is usually translated as to look inside or to contemplate.[2] Intuition is thus often conceived as a kind of inner perception, sometimes regarded as real lucidity or understanding. Cases of intuition are of a great diversity, however processes by which they happen typically remain mostly unknown to the thinker, as opposed to our view of rational thinking.”

I l like to define it as an inner wisdom not mediated by the rational mind.

Steve Jobs stated; “Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Do you have the courage to follow your intuition? People have become famous using their intuition. Steve Jobs obviously was a fan of it and history cites Nostradamus. Other famous modern Intuitives like Sonia Choquette, Doreen Virtue, Esther and Jerry Hicks, John Edward Or James Van Praagh add to others lives while making a wonderful living.

Not everyone with intuitive abilities becomes famous though. So what about the rest of us? We can use it to know ourselves better. To increase joy, decrease stress and add ease to our lives. I discovered my abilities and those of my clients through Numerology*. I know it makes lives' better.

Intuition could be your four-leaf clover, your pot of gold….your lucky charms.
